Lingda (Wild Fern) Pickle
Fiddle-heads wild fern locally known as Lingda, are the edible wild shoots of ferns, which are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibers. Found during the short period of monsoon, Fiddle-heads are unique in both appearance and flavor. The young shoots of the fern are tightly wound into a circular button-like shape. They are mostly use as vegetables and for making pickles.
